Starting a running program needs a commitment, and I have found that it is easier to stay committed to an action if I give myself a challenge to meet. The challenge keeps my motivation up on those days when it's just easier not to run!

I can't believe that I left it so long to find out the cause of my problem! I'm having physical therapy twice a week now, and it's definitely improving. There's some more information about it in my comments section in reply to a member's experience…
Thank! Right now I'm still limping...even when I walk...ugh, but thankfully my mother is a PT and she's been giving me some pointers too. So I hope that it'll work itself out sooner rather than later. Oh and I'm not sure what caused it originally, I was blaming a new/different type of treadmill at the gym, since jogging outside right now isn't doable where I am.
Again thank you, I appreciate the help!
Thank you Alan! Yes I'm still inthe walk/jog phase, but I rather like it! At first I really didn't care for jogging at all, but now it's almost an addiction. Unfortunately I did something to the interior muscle at the hip and it's a wee bit of a pain, but I'm trying to be good and not jog for a couple weeks. But once that heals I plan on trying to get in more jog less walk ;)
Thanks again and have a wonderful week and a happy Valentine's Day!
